Hmm..

This would probably fit into a nice dance or trance breakdown, but as a standalone for a classical piece, I probably would say the effects that you have put on it really detracts from the sound of the melody. I like the melody that you have; it was done very nicely on the right hand, as well to the left hand, which complemented the melody quite well.

Perhaps if you lowered the reverb on it and had a more natural sounding piano, I think it'll fit more into a classical setting instead of an dance/trance breakdown.

If you don't mind, please take a minute of your time to review a track of mine; comments are greatly appreciated :D

DJPureSuffer responds:

Yeah, i guess the effects were a bit overkill. haha. thanks for the review :D ill be sure to look at your stuff ^_^

Pretty funky

I'd say it'sa nice loop.. except it needs to loop better :O

That bass in the beginning is absolutely killer. I think you could have made your kicks a bit heavier, like using gated kicks or layering some heavier, bassier kicks. Also.. You might want to "wrap remainder" when you render it so it's more loopy.

Great stuff; pretty cool with the psytrance thing

SoLoR1 responds:

Ha thanks man, yeah this is one of the songs i have yet to finish also, all my dubstep songs suck lol but for some reason my psytrance comes out good.

Yeah I would make it sound like a LOOP but i wanted to preview this, i have a way better version of it right now.

Figure i should start finishing work before posting it up. Get way more views and ect.

This is pretty cool

I like it. The introduction kinda threw me off with the seemingly random mini-mutes, as I call them. The squarish synth was a nice touch into the background. The percussion seems a little bit reserved, which clicks with the rest of the beat. The strings that are added compliment the ambiance of the track. And I think you added some kind of woodwind. I'm leaning towards an oboe, which is a very nice touch.

One thing I found that was a little off was the naming; it doesn't seem to fit :O

Great ambient track you got there.

JebusAndTheHolyYoses responds:

Thanks! Yeah, the intro is supposed to sound kind of broken, with the "mini mutes"- I used a gate sequencer to make the synth mute somewhat randomly. I'm glad you enjoyed the track! The name- I was going for something a bit shocking for the name of the song, but the track does have a rather melancholy feel to it. So I dunno, I think it works but yeah it is somewhat out of place.

Thanks a lot for your review!

Most of your stuff sound Indian anyways

Should be more like
Do that bellydance

See? I told you

It would've been better if "on the corner" wasn't so damn annoying, lol

Mmm.. It's ok

The beginning synths are so-so at best. The deep ass bass kick doesn't fit in. And the snares are kinda too loud with that sound. The claps are panned too wide, you might want to try something closer to like 75% on each side.

THE FUCK

WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU PUMP THESE TRACKS OUT OF? YOUR ASS? WTFFFFFFF I never heard of this one

izzparth responds:

Smoke the herbal

YOU MEAN CORE

You should really spell check sometimes

izzparth responds:

I was baked dude

THIS BEAT IS SICK

Oh man, this destroys the whole homo barrier. Good shit; the beat is fucking awesome.

Not bad

Mm, this isn't bad. The drums are pretty nice, although I did wish there was a little variation with it.

If by any chance you're using Fruity Loops, you can use Soft Clipper for the channels for the clipping.

Good stuff.

Marks-a-lot responds:

that clipping is a fluke! I can't get rid of it though :'( unless I change my filter which would mess up the whole song. But lets not get down about that, thanks for the listen
